Mundo Reves, Petit Voyage Criolla 2022

Mundo Reves (meaning "dream world") was created by two French winemakers, Thibault and Quentin, who moved to Argentina a decade ago. They found in the Argentinian terroir a huge potential and felt there was a great opportunity to accomplish their dream of making amazing wines from indigenous Argentinian varieties in their own unique, funky way. Petit Voyage Criolla 2022 is made from a blend of mainly the red Criolla Grande, a stunning light-bodied grape native to South America, and a small amount of the white Pinot Gris. Matured in stainless steel and fermented using carbonic maceration to soften its tannins and retain freshness, this is a wild, savoury and aromatic red with lots of juicy plum and pomegranate notes and nice bright acidity. A great red to have chilled.
